Free AI Readiness Assessment

Your free AI Assessment.
30 minutes. Five deliverables. No commitment.

A discovery conversation that produces a maturity scorecard, AI usage report, and 90-day plan you can act on whether or not we work together.

What Is an AI Readiness Assessment?

An AI readiness assessment is a structured discovery conversation that evaluates an organization's awareness of current AI use, governance gaps, automation opportunities, and capability maturity. It typically takes 30 to 45 minutes and produces deliverables like a maturity scorecard, AI usage report, automation audit, and a 90-day action plan you can execute regardless of who runs it.

Five deliverables. One thirty-minute conversation.

Each output is leadership-ready and built from data we access through your existing security stack.

1

Awareness Read

One-page summary in plain English of what your team knew and didn't know. Written for the leadership audience, not for IT.

2

AI Usage Report

DNS-layer pull from your existing security stack showing which AI tools are in use across your environment over the past 90 days, by team and by tool.

3

Tasks Automation Audit

Prioritized list of automatable workflows with estimated time-savings per task. Built from the conversation, scored on value and feasibility.

4

Maturity Scorecard

Six-dimension scoring (Awareness, Current Usage, Outcomes, Data and Policy, Capability, Concerns). 0-3 scale per dimension. Shows where you are and where the gaps live.

5

90-Day Plan

Three to five named initiatives with owners and dollar estimates. Action-ready whether or not you work with us.

Ready to start?

No commitment. No data leaves your environment.

Built for owners and operators, not IT teams.

Most operational leaders we work with are mining executives, construction owners, healthcare administrators, or professional-services principals running mid-market businesses. None of them have a Chief AI Officer. All of them have employees using AI tools today.

If you're an owner or executive

You don't need to know what RAG or prompt injection means. You do need to know what your exposure looks like and what your competitors are doing.

If you run operations or finance

The Tasks Automation Audit alone usually pays for the conversation. Most teams find 5-10 hours per week of recoverable time within the first month.

If you're regulated

HIPAA, MSHA, and contract-sensitive operators need to know what's leaving the perimeter. The AI Usage Report shows you in 90 days of evidence.

Twenty questions. Six dimensions.

Open-ended conversation, scored privately, delivered as your maturity read.

1. Awareness and Guardrails

The two opening questions. Most leaders cannot answer either confidently.

"Are you aware what your employees are using AI for today?"

2. Current Usage

Which tools, what kinds of work, what percent of your team.

"Which AI tools are in active use, on company or personal accounts?"

3. Outcomes and Strategic Intent

Tasks-out, tools-in. The question every operator can answer.

"What tasks take too long, are repetitive, or you wish your team had more capacity for?"

4. Data and Policy

Sensitive data exposure. Written policy. Compliance scope.

"If an employee accidentally pasted sensitive data into a public AI tool today, what would happen?"

5. Capability and Readiness

Data organization, security review, training, embedded AI features.

"Is your business data organized in a way AI can use effectively?"

6. Concerns and Direction

Biggest concern, what's preventing speed, what's preventing caution.

"What is your biggest concern about AI in your business today?"

What we don't ask.

Your data does not go to any AI vendor.

The conversation is the conversation. Outputs come from data we already access through your existing security stack (DNS layer, M365 audit logs, endpoint telemetry).

No NDA required for the assessment.

We treat every conversation as confidential by default. If your environment requires a formal NDA, we'll sign yours or use ours before any work product changes hands.

No tooling install required.

We work from data sources already deployed in most mid-market environments. If your stack has gaps, we name them in the report. We don't require new agents to run the assessment.

No commitment to engage further.

The 90-Day Plan is yours. You can hand it to a competing MSP, give it to your internal IT team, or shelve it. The work product belongs to you.

How it works.

Three steps from request to deliverables.

1

Request the assessment

Submit the form below. We'll reach out within one business day to schedule the 30-minute conversation at a time that works for you.

2

Have the conversation

30 to 45 minutes, on Teams or in person. Twenty open-ended questions. We capture answers; you don't prepare anything.

3

Receive the deliverables

Five outputs delivered within five business days. Reviewed live in a 30-minute readout. Yours to keep, with no obligation.

Frequently asked questions.

Is the assessment really free?

Yes. No payment, no contract, no obligation to engage further. The 90-Day Plan is yours to keep regardless of what you do next. We run it as a loss-leader because the assessment is also our best qualifying mechanic. Most teams who go through it want to keep working with us, but we deliver value either way.

How long does the conversation take?

30 to 45 minutes for the discovery conversation, plus a 30-minute live readout when we deliver the five outputs. No prep work required on your side. We capture answers in the conversation itself.

Who should attend the conversation?

The owner, an executive who can speak to operational pain, or both. For larger organizations, a finance or operations leader is often the right second voice. We don't need IT in the room. The conversation is operational, not technical.

What does the AI Usage Report actually contain?

A 90-day pull from your existing DNS or endpoint security data showing which AI tools are being accessed in your environment, by team, and how frequently. If you have Cisco Umbrella, M365 audit logs, or comparable telemetry, we can produce this within 48 hours of the conversation. If you don't, we name the gap in the report and recommend an instrumentation path.

What if our environment doesn't have the data sources you mentioned?

Most mid-market environments have the data sources we need (DNS layer, M365 audit, endpoint telemetry). If yours doesn't, the assessment still runs. We deliver what we can and mark the gaps. You'll see exactly which controls would let you answer 'what is my team using AI for' in the future.

Will Unió Digital try to sell me something at the end?

We will offer a Managed AI engagement if it fits, and we'll be specific about what it costs and what you get. We don't push. The 90-Day Plan is built so you can act on it whether you hire us, hire a competitor, or do it in-house. Some clients implement it themselves and come back in 12 months. That's fine with us.

Can we sign an NDA before the conversation?

Yes. We treat every assessment as confidential by default, but we'll sign your NDA or use ours if you prefer. Most clients are comfortable starting without one and signing before any work product changes hands.

How quickly can we get on the calendar?

Most assessments are scheduled within one to two weeks of request. If you need it faster (board meeting, audit, vendor selection), tell us in the form below and we'll find time within 48 hours.
