Managed AI Services
Your employees are using AI. Are you?
Most teams have employees using AI tools today. Most leaders cannot answer where, with what data, or under what guardrails. We help you find out, then put a managed program in place.
What Are Managed AI Services?
Managed AI services combine governance, security, training, vendor management, and ongoing optimization of artificial intelligence tools into a recurring program. A managed AI provider owns the AI domain on the client's behalf, similar to how a managed services provider (MSP) covers IT. The work is ongoing because AI tools change monthly, vendor security postures shift, and new shadow tools keep appearing.
Two questions most leaders can't answer.
- Are you aware what your employees are using AI for today?
- What guardrails do you have in place: written policy, monitoring, governance?
If you don't have specific answers to both, you are not alone. Most leaders we talk to don't either. The exposure is real. Customer data, contracts, financial records, and code routinely move through public AI tools without IT visibility. We call this Shadow AI, and it's the fastest-growing security gap in mid-market business today.
How We Help You With AI
Seven service areas under one Managed AI program. Most clients start with the assessment.
AI Readiness Assessment
A 30-minute conversation that produces a maturity scorecard, AI usage report, and 90-day plan. No commitment, no data leaves your environment.

Recurring program. We own the AI domain end-to-end: governance, policy, monitoring, vendor management, training. The MSA model applied to AI.
Learn MoreMicrosoft Copilot
Deployment, governance, and ongoing optimization for Microsoft 365 Copilot. DLP, sensitivity labels, prompt safety, and end-user training included.
Scope a RolloutAI Security
Data protection, prompt injection defense, shadow AI monitoring, and model governance. Sits on top of your existing security stack.
Learn MoreAI Strategy (vCAIO)
Virtual Chief AI Officer advisory. Roadmap, executive briefings, board-ready reporting, and vendor selection. Quarterly or embedded retainer.
Learn MoreAutomation Services
Workflow automation, AI agent development, system integration. Identify the repetitive work, automate it, free your people for the work that matters.
Learn MoreBI Automation
Automated KPI tracking, dashboards, and reporting pipelines. Turn the data you already have into the insight your leadership team needs.
Learn MoreWhy Arizona Businesses Choose Unió Digital for AI
An MSP with the operating chassis, vertical depth, and integration capability to own the AI domain credibly.
Practitioner's MSP, Not a Consultancy
We already run 300+ recurring service relationships. AI is the same chassis: monitor, govern, train, respond. We ship working programs, not slide decks.
Vertical Depth in Mining, Construction, and Healthcare
Mining clients deal with MSHA documentation. Construction GCs deal with subcontractor specs and submittal libraries. Medical practices deal with HIPAA-covered patient data. Generic MSPs cannot match this fluency.
One Vendor Across IT, AI, Low Voltage, and Physical Security
Unió Digital runs your full technology surface under one accountability and one contract. Your AI partner already knows your data, your permissions, and your environment.
Built for Your Industry
Generic AI services don't speak your operational language. Ours do.
Mining
MSHA training-record handling, safety-procedure search, predictive equipment maintenance, accident-reporting workflows. Multi-site connectivity and IT/OT segmentation that AI tooling has to respect.
Strongest fit: Custom agents on MSHA documentation, data hygiene, governance program.
Construction
RFI auto-routing, submittal review, subcontractor document processing, change-order tracking. Project files in too many places, contract data leakage risk, multi-site team workflows.
Strongest fit: Microsoft Copilot rollout, automation, training and adoption.
Healthcare
HIPAA-covered patient data, BAA-gated AI tooling, PHI containment, intake and administrative workflows. AI deployment that respects the regulatory perimeter from day one.
Strongest fit: Custom agents on HIPAA forms, AI Security, data hygiene and PHI containment.

Managed AI: Frequently Asked Questions
We're not ready to deploy AI tools yet. Is this still for us?
Yes. The first conversation is governance and visibility, not deployment. Most clients we onboard have employees using AI tools today without IT awareness or written guardrails. Managed AI starts by closing that gap. Tool deployment comes later, paired with named outcomes.
We're already using Microsoft Copilot. What does Managed AI add?
Copilot license activation is the start, not the finish. Managed AI provides ongoing governance (DLP, sensitivity labels, prompt safety), end-user training, usage monitoring, and the security posture for sensitive data. Most Copilot rollouts stall because no one set this up. We do.
How does this fit with our existing MSP contract?
Three options exist: bundle into your existing Managed Services Agreement, add as a recurring module, or stand up as a separate Managed AI Agreement. Each has different revenue and renewal mechanics. We walk through the trade-offs during the assessment.
What does this cost?
Pricing is bespoke at this stage. Packages start at the Foundation tier (8-component governance baseline) and scale through Operations and Strategy tiers. Most engagements price per seat or per environment monthly. The free assessment includes a 90-day plan with named owners and dollar estimates.
How long does the assessment take, and what does it actually produce?
The assessment is a 30 to 45 minute conversation. We deliver five outputs: an Awareness Read (what your team knew and didn't know), an AI Usage Report (pulled from your existing security stack), a Tasks Automation Audit (prioritized list of automatable work with ROI), a Maturity Scorecard (six dimensions), and a recommended 90-day plan.
What happens to our data when it's processed by AI?
That depends entirely on which AI tool, configured how. Shadow AI usage typically sends data to public models that train on prompts. Sanctioned tools (Microsoft Copilot, tenant-scoped platforms) keep data inside your environment. The Managed AI program defines exactly which tools are sanctioned and configures them to stop training-data leakage.
Do you support healthcare practices that handle PHI?
Yes. PHI scope is treated as a first-class concern in every component of the Managed AI program. AI Policy templates exclude PHI from public AI tools, sanctioned tools are configured to respect HIPAA Security Rule expectations, and BAAs with underlying tooling vendors are managed under DPA management. We work with HIPAA-covered practices today and design the program around their regulatory perimeter.
Can we cancel the agreement if it's not working?
Yes. Standard month-to-month after the initial term, with documented exit terms. We don't lock clients in. We earn the renewal each month.
Start with the assessment. No commitment.
30 minutes. Five deliverables. A 90-day plan you can act on whether or not we work together.
