Physical Security Technician

About this role

The Physical Security Technician installs, configures, and services access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems for commercial clients. You'll work both new construction and retrofit/service jobs.

What you'll do

  • Install and configure Avigilon, Rhombus, Verkada cameras + access control hardware
  • Mount, aim, and commission cameras to client requirements
  • Service existing systems (replacements, firmware updates, troubleshooting)
  • Train clients on basic system operation at handoff
  • Document each install with photos and as-built notes

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years installing physical security systems (cameras, access control, intrusion)
  • Manufacturer certifications (Avigilon, Rhombus, Verkada) preferred
  • Basic networking (camera IP config, VLANs, switch port assignment)
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.; based in or relocating to one of the listed hiring locations and able to travel
