Physical Security Service Desk Technician
Provides remote support and troubleshooting for access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems. Handles client requests, performs system health monitoring, and coordinates with field technicians.
About this role
The Physical Security Service Desk Technician runs remote support for our installed base of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems. You handle health monitoring, remote diagnostics, configuration changes, and coordinate field tech dispatch when an onsite is required.
What you'll do
- Remote support for Avigilon, Rhombus, Verkada, and similar physical security platforms
- Health monitoring across the installed base (camera offline alerts, controller issues)
- Configuration changes (user adds/removes, schedule updates, alert tuning)
- Coordinate field technician dispatch for onsite work
- Document every change in HaloPSA
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in physical security tech support or comparable IT/network role
- Familiarity with at least one major access control or VMS platform
- Basic networking (subnetting, VLANs, port forwarding)
- Strong written communication for client-facing tickets
- Eligible to work in the U.S.; based in or relocating to Tucson, AZ
