About this role
The Physical Security Engineer owns the design and commissioning of complex physical security deployments. Senior role with technical authority across the field crew.
What you'll do
- Design end-to-end physical security solutions (access control, VMS, intrusion, integrated systems)
- Produce detailed plan sets, riser diagrams, and BoMs
- Lead system commissioning and acceptance testing
- Provide technical oversight to field technicians during installs
- Interface with clients, GCs, and AHJs throughout project delivery
What we're looking for
- 5+ years designing commercial physical security systems
- Manufacturer-level certifications across multiple platforms (Avigilon, Rhombus, Verkada, LenelS2, Genetec)
- Strong networking knowledge (VLANs, multicast, QoS, network segmentation)
- PSP certification or equivalent preferred
- Eligible to work in the U.S.; based in or relocating to Tucson, AZ
